Contact UsA search for nearshore outsourcing companies returns three kinds of business that are not substitutes: BPO centers that run a process for you, staffing partners that put one vetted person on your team, and software shops that rent you engineers. Most lists rank them together. This one separates them, because a US finance team that wants a senior accountant on Eastern time and an e-commerce brand that wants 40 support seats are not shopping for the same thing.
We opened the site of every company below between September 14 and 15, 2026 and recorded what each publishes: model, price, countries, time to start, replacement policy, reviews. Where a field is blank on the provider's site, it is blank here too.
We took the companies that rank for this search and the ones those pages keep naming, then audited each on its own site: home, pricing, how-it-works, about and the page for the function it leads with. Each field carries the URL it came from. Nothing was copied from another list, which is how at least one company that several competitors still recommend turned out to redirect to its acquirer. Two companies that appear in the AI Overview for this search, TTEC and NearContact, blocked our audit and are not reviewed. Vintti is on the list, first in its group, with the same fields and the same blanks as everyone else.
Of 20 nearshore outsourcing companies audited in September 2026, 11 publish a price, 12 publish a replacement policy and 6 publish reviews on a platform with a count. Three publish all three.
Nearshore outsourcing means buying work from a country in a nearby time zone, which for a US company means Latin America. Under that label three products coexist. Managed BPO: the provider employs a team in its own center and runs your accounts payable, your support queue or your collections against an SLA; you buy the outcome and rarely choose the individuals.
Nearshore staffing: the provider recruits one person who joins your team full time, works in your systems and reports to you, while the provider holds the contract and bills a monthly rate. You interview and choose. Staff augmentation is the same idea for engineers, usually with the provider as the legal employer through its own entities.
The reasons are the same across the twenty providers' own pages. The workday: Colombia sits on US Eastern time all year, Mexico and Central America on Central, Argentina and Brazil one to two hours ahead of Eastern. Offshore Asia is 9 to 13 hours ahead, which means asynchronous handoffs or someone working nights; finance teams that have run that model describe the toll of staff working at 3 or 4 in the morning to overlap.
English proficiency comes next, screened for US business calls rather than certificates, then shorter flights for site visits and cultural alignment with US practice. Retention closes the list: a dedicated role at a US company is a career move in the region, and several providers publish retention above 90%.
Price is the reason buyers arrive with and the one that survives least contact with the data. Asia is cheaper per hour: Wow Remote Teams publishes $3 to $12 an hour for general roles in Asia against $7 to $20 in Latin America. What nearshore buys is the same calendar day, and the providers below are ranked on how well they deliver that, not on who is cheapest.
The head-to-head for accounting firms: why CPA firms are leaving the Philippines for nearshore LATAM.
Decide the product before the provider: an outcome, a person or engineering capacity. Comparing a BPO against a staffing partner on price is how buyers end up with a bench when they wanted a colleague. Then ask for the rate rather than the savings claim, because nine of the twenty publish only a percentage, and several publish percentages their own rates do not support.
Get the replacement policy in days, since two weeks, 60 days, 90 days, 120 days, 180 days, unlimited and unpublished all appear below. Ask who the legal employer is, in writing, because the same provider can describe its people as contractors on one page and itself as legal employer on another. And check reviews on the platform itself: six providers publish a platform and a count, and for the rest a search on Clutch or G2 beats trusting a five-star widget.
Grouped by what each company actually sells. Within each group, the order runs from the most finance-specific to the most general. Figures are as published by each company in September 2026.
vintti.com
Nearshore staffing and recruiting for US companies and accounting firms, with finance and accounting as its origin and about 70% of placements. One person joins your team from Argentina, Colombia or Mexico after a shortlist of 3 to 5 vetted candidates; Vintti holds the contract under the staffing plan or you employ directly under recruiting. It is the only company in this group that publishes placement medians by role and country, and it is neither a BPO nor an employer of record platform.
What they publish
Not published: the fee percentage and one-time fee amount, quoted on the kickoff call; reviews on a third-party platform.
Role pages with the data: hire a staff accountant, hire an accounting manager, hire a controller. Plans: Vintti pricing.
auxis.com
A managed BPO and shared services provider with delivery centers in Costa Rica and Colombia, a subsidiary of Grant Thornton Advisors since 2025. Finance and accounting is its largest line, sold as processes (procure to pay, order to cash, record to report) run by its own team of more than 200 accounting professionals trained on US GAAP. You buy the process, not the person. Founded in 1997, it is the oldest company on this list and the one with the most enterprise logos.

virtuallatinos.com
The largest virtual assistant agency in the group by declared community, with 24,000 professionals across 20 Latin American countries, priced by seniority tier and all-inclusive. hirewithnear.com
A generalist LATAM staffing and recruiting company with eight departments, finance and accounting among them, and the most complete public data on this list: G2 and Clutch ratings with counts, a salary table by role, and a stated placement rate. Direct hire carries a one-time fee and a 180-day guarantee; staffing is a monthly percentage of salary; the employer of record option runs through third-party EOR providers, which its own pages describe inconsistently.

hireinsouth.com
Nearshore staffing at one flat monthly rate per hire, with the most transparent pricing in the generalist group: 385 roles with all-in monthly rates on its roles page, 25 of them finance and accounting. The largest LATAM software staff augmentation firm, California-headquartered and Buenos Aires-born, with 4,000 engineers across 20 countries and teams ready in two to four weeks. softtek.com
A Monterrey-based IT services company with 16,000 people and 18 delivery centers, credited with coining the nearshore model in 1997 as an alternative to India-centric outsourcing. Its finance line is process BPO run by its own agents, not staffing, and it publishes no prices. It appears on nearly every nearshore list, usually in the wrong category.
What they publish
Not published:
TTEC and NearContact appear in the AI Overview for this search and returned a 403 to our audit, so they are not reviewed. Transparent BPO's site loaded but exposes almost no verifiable fields. Helpware publishes a dedicated-agent model and a two to four week hiring timeline but no rates or locations we could confirm. Nearsure, still recommended by several lists, redirects to Nortal after its 2025 acquisition. And the engineering-only lists that rank for this search name a dozen European and Asian firms as nearshore; for a US buyer they are not.
Published numbers only. The spread within a row usually reflects whether the figure is a salary or an all-in rate with the provider's fee inside it.
Eleven of the twenty companies publish a price. Every managed BPO provider on the list publishes a savings percentage instead, and none of those percentages can be checked against a rate.
The full finance cost matrix with sample sizes: nearshore staffing costs in Latin America, 2026 guide. Salary benchmarks: accountant salaries, US vs LATAM, bookkeeper salary benchmarks.
A small US business does not need a BPO program. The entry point is one dedicated person on month-to-month terms, and five companies here are built for exactly that. Vintti places a first finance hire, a bookkeeper or staff accountant, in about 18 days with no fee until you hire. Uassist.ME and Virtual Latinos start at one assistant from $1,600 to $1,900 a month. Wow Remote Teams bills hourly with a 20-hour minimum for new clients and a two-week decision period before the first invoice. LatHire lets you browse profiles and hire in 48 hours.
What to insist on at this size: a published rate, a named person you interviewed, a replacement policy in writing, and no long-term commitment. All five publish month-to-month or no-minimum terms.
For a first finance hire: hire a bookkeeper or hire a staff accountant. For support and admin: nearshore virtual assistants.
Country by finance role: Colombia vs Argentina vs Mexico for each nearshore F&A role.
This is the most specific question buyers bring to this search, and most of the twenty cannot answer it. BPO providers sell the close as a process rather than a person, VA agencies stop at bookkeeping assistant, and engineering firms do not place accountants. That leaves the finance specialists and the generalists with a finance line.
The role page: hire a senior accountant. The salary side: senior accountant salaries, US vs LATAM. Providers compared on this role specifically: LATAM staff accountant outsourcing providers.
The first is a savings claim without a rate: nine companies publish only a percentage, and several publish two or three different percentages on the same site. The second is two answers to who employs the person, contractors on the pricing FAQ and legal employer on the EOR page, which only the contract language resolves. The third is scale numbers that disagree, pool sizes that differ by 80x between pages, headcounts that change by 5,000, founding years that move; treat scale claims as marketing.
Then come five-star widgets without a count, where six companies publish a platform and a number and the rest show stars; a bench sold as dedicated staff, which is BPO whatever the page says if you did not interview and choose the person; and category confusion, engineering firms on finance lists and BPOs on staffing lists. Deciding the product first removes the last one and most of the others.
If you hire directly rather than through a partner, the classification rules on the US side are in IRS guidance on independent contractor versus employee status; the US salary baselines the savings claims are measured against are in US Bureau of Labor Statistics, Accountants and Auditors and US Bureau of Labor Statistics, Bookkeeping, Accounting and Auditing Clerks.
For a dedicated finance hire, Vintti, South Offices and South publish the most role-level data. For managed F&A processes, Auxis and Solvo. For assistants and support, Uassist.ME and Virtual Latinos publish prices and terms. For engineering, Revelo and TECLA publish rates. The best one depends on whether you want an outcome, a person or engineering capacity.
Dedicated finance roles run $1,650 to $2,950 a month all in on Vintti's placement medians, and assistants start between $1,600 and $1,900 a month. Contact center seats start at $7.75 an hour and senior engineers run $5,500 to $8,000 a month. Eleven of the twenty companies publish a number.
Time zone. Nearshore Latin America works 0 to 2 hours from US Eastern; offshore Asia works 9 to 13 hours ahead. Offshore is usually cheaper per hour; nearshore sells the shared workday.
Colombia for the widest pools on US Eastern time, Mexico for Central time and scale, Argentina for senior finance and engineering, Costa Rica and Central America for contact centers. The function usually decides.
Decide the product first, then ask for a rate, a replacement policy in days, the legal employer in writing, and reviews with a count on a platform you can check.
Yes. Staffing partners and VA agencies start at one person on month-to-month terms. Vintti places a single bookkeeper or staff accountant in about 18 days with no fee until you hire.
The ones here invoice in USD and contract with US entities; several are US-registered companies with Latin American operations. Confirm currency, contract law and data terms before signing.
No. An EOR platform employs a person you found; a staffing partner finds, vets and places the person and then handles the contract. Vintti is a staffing and recruiting partner, not an EOR platform or a BPO.
Vintti, South Offices, South, Near, LatamCent and Solvo publish finance roles; Auxis runs F&A as a managed process; Uassist.ME and Virtual Latinos place bookkeeping assistants. BairesDev, Revelo, TECLA and Gorilla Logic place no finance roles.
Staffing partners publish 3 to 7 days to a shortlist and 14 to 21 days to a hire; Vintti averages 18. Engineering firms 1 to 4 weeks. BPO transitions run weeks to months.
Across the twenty: two weeks (Uassist.ME), 14-day trial (Revelo, MAVI), 90 days (TECLA), 120 days (South), 180 days (Near direct hire), free and unlimited (Vintti staffing), and several with nothing published.
Staffing partners and BPOs do, inside their rate. Recruiting-only arrangements leave it with you. Whether you need an EOR at all is covered in Vintti's guide linked below.
Near (G2 4.9 with 150+, Clutch 4.8 with 47+), Revelo (G2 4.7 across 162), Uassist.ME (Clutch 4.6 with 33), TECLA (Clutch, 20 reviews), BairesDev (Clutch 4.9, no count) and Remote Team Solutions (Glassdoor, employee side).
Tell Vintti the role, the systems and the hours, and you will meet 3 to 5 vetted candidates within a week. Start at nearshore accounting staffing.
Twenty companies, three products. Decide whether you want an outcome, a person or engineering capacity, then compare within that group on the rate, the replacement policy, the legal employer and the reviews you can count. Eleven publish a price; start with those.
Every company above is a way to hire Latin American talent; the difference is whether you get a process, a colleague or a developer. For a colleague in finance, start with hire an accountant or hire a financial analyst.
